Impact Investing

We structure, manage, and deploy funds offering a variety of financing structures (such as equity, debt, and revenue-share) through various investment funds and facilities to connect impact-creating startups with the right type of capital for them. Visit our Impact Investing page.

Tech-Enabled Tools

We launched Abaca, our free web app that equips early-stage, impact-creating entrepreneurs, ESOs, and capital providers with tools to learn, assess fit, and expand access to financial capital. Its newest feature, Capital Explorer, helps founders identify the most suitable funding options for their businesses.

Ultimately, we want to bring more people and more perspectives into the global engine of entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship helps solve the world’s biggest problems. We started Village Capital after identifying a critical issue: venture capital funding wasn’t reaching everyone equally.

There are blind spots in how new ideas are identified, discovered, and supported – and when founders aren’t able to access the resources to grow, innovation slows down.

While these challenges persist today, the investment landscape has evolved. Impact investing now exceeds USD 1.5 trillion, and growing evidence shows that venture capital is not the right fit for every high-growth, impact-creating entrepreneur.

The conversation has evolved beyond simply proving impact to understanding that each startup's growth journey is unique and requires tailored capital to foster long-term sustainability and meaningful change.

Beyond working directly with entrepreneurs, we also tackle systemic barriers. We aim to make impact investing more inclusive and channel capital to a wider range of founders.

We do this by designing, testing, and sharing new tools, technology, and processes to unlock barriers for entrepreneurs.
